recharge from 45 to 70 Govt.?

I want to start my own casual loading 45-70 Govt. My first thought was to buy the Lee Challenger kit. Then I saw that he could hand buying fixed at a fraction of the cost. I will not carry large amounts of ammunition. Enough for my 45-70 and maybe a group of friends, 223, 243, and 30-06. I know I have buy Calibur rows of each case and possibly this. primers. I do not know how much powder but I think a lot. If you have any suggestions about which of the powders booklets, etc. Please list. As I said I'm not going to be a burden Mass quantities, I'm only charging for hunting and reading. I want the least expensive equipment, but better for my needs. Please list suggestions. Thanks, Dodd

I have a Lee hand press, too, and it's really cool! You can change the size of the event, watching TV, or depressed or even completely reload the entire range! If you need to set up a batch of ammunition, not the best option, but only for a few boxes of shells, which is really good. It also works great in conjunction with a bench press assembly in a single step. Sometimes I go back to size and the initial installation and trim and crimp with the press of Lee's hand. There is no substitute for a good reloading manual. Sometimes you can find and use in your local armory. I Lyman, Nosler, Sierra and Hornady. The Lyman is very good, but they are all very nice to have. There is also a bit of dust charging company resources online here, I'll post a link to them. Yes Please do not use the information obtained the burden of a forum like this. Please use only load information published, reliable sources. The powders used for 0.45 to 70 are IMR 3031, IMR 4198, and the compression load of black powder into my trap FFG. In addition, from 0.45 to 70 recharge data is usually divided into three different pressures load. The first and lowest is for the older rifles like the hatch. The second is the general modern lever action rifles like the Marlin 1895, and the third is the pressure higher for more gun like Ruger # 1 rifle. Using high-pressure loads in an old rifle would be dangerous, so make sure the correct data for your firearm. Good luck and have fun.
