hunting and fishing goods
any outdoors (fishing, hunting, and 4 w’s) lovers out there?

I was just wanting to read some good fishing and hunting stories. This cold weather is bring me down and i’m dieing to get out side. And i done care if the tail is bigger than the fish, or the horn is bigger than the antler, I just need something to bring my summer love back to the dock. I love to fish and hunt i grew up with it, i have been hunting sence i was 3 or 4 and fishing sence i was old enough to hold the fishing pole. i love the hooken the worms and minnows. i love bass fishing and cat fishing, hell i like any kind of fishing, and i dont mind the cleaning eather. The race of the heart when you see that deer come in to the clearing, OOOww give me goose bumps!! so anyway lay them on me : ) cant wait to read them:)

My cousin and his partner drew a moose tag in northern Maine. They had been watching this fat little bull all summer. On the opening day of the season, they were out at his favorite deadwater bright and early. The bull showed up right on time to eat his breakfast of lilly pads. My cousin told his partner to wait until the moose came up on dry land and then he could shoot him. They waited about three hours and he finaly came up on the shore and turn broadside to them. Classic! He put the crosshairs of the old Mod. 70 in 30/06 right behind the foreleg and fired. My cousin said he could see where the 180gr softpoint hit and it looked perfect. They latter found when they dress it out that the bullet had hit the top of the heart and punched both lungs. Well, the moose gave a little shiver, stood there for about half a minute and walked back into the deadwater where he finally gave up the ghost! They tried to wade out to him but the bottom was so soft it sucked one of my cousin’s boots off. They had to drive 80 miles back to town to get a canoe ropes comealong and such to get the moose out of there. It was after midnight before they got back home.
