anybody else see this before hunting season?

made it down to cabelas and sportsmans warehouse today to go look at stuff. its 2 days before the season and at sportsmans the line to get a tag was about half way back in the store and all the employees were laughin about it and sayin how stupid people can be to wait till 2 days before the season opens.

THEN

i went to Cabelas just because i like watching all of the “flatlanders” as i call them (or people that live in boise and come to my town on vacation for the weekends and we leave our town and go to boise for vacation over the weekends but anyways people were buying camo hats coats overalls pants jackets socks boxers gloves facepaint camo anything you can imagine. buying all of this 2 days before the general season rifle hunt…

why do people need so much camo for the rifle hunt? and why do they wait?

makes me laugh too, and i love gear. I just purchased everything i need over the years, and take care of it. I did splurge and buy a nice digital woodland camo jacket this year. Its comfortable and blends in really nicely.

its sort of like people who think that a $3000 rifle with a $2000 scope and premium $70 a box .30-06 ammo somehow makes them a good hunter, or even a good target shooter. the best is when they drag that setup in the forest for a 50 yard shot……
