Selling Hunting Equipment

gun laws of Ontario Canada?
i have a few gun law questions the main question is what is required to buy and collect guns of all sorts mostly military grade?
second question is what are hunting laws…like could i use a military grade rifle for hunting?
third question is does the Canadian Forces ever sell their no longer in service equipment to the public?
also where could i browse and buy stuff like this?
Assault rifles and semi-automatic rifles are illegal to own in Canada. Verfied collectors can get permits to own certain types of weapon iif they have been altered to prevent automatic fire, but certain classes (fully auto) are simply unavailable.
You can use a military rifle for hunting, but it would be stupid. Military weapons are small caliber, not what you want for shooting a moose.
Canadian forces does sell surplus equipment, but not weapons.
